WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO TEACH?

 

"All forms of education – formal, informal, and non-formal – should strive to continually discover, promote, and support the spirit of social justice for all participants. The form and function of schooling should reflect the varied needs of its students while embodying a philosophy and framework that seeks to enact change in the greater community" 

 

My teaching philosophy is always evolving. The more time I spend inside the classroom interacting with students, the more I am inclined to edit my original answer to the question above. While these edits do not always reflect on paper in any official way, there's a somewhat constant editing process going on in my mind as I come across new challenges and concerns.
